I am getting ready to pull the plug on this program if it can't do a better job of printing multipage files...it is driving me nuts. I do use a lot of x-refs but am careful with nesting and nothing is absurdly big but it is ridiculously slow and very fussy. Anyone else have similar issues? I don't recall having this kind of issue in years gone by - otherwise I would have bailed long ago. I have a ton of stuff due and the best I can manage at the moment is screen shots....

Hi Mark -
I apparently have 23.00.02.21 - which according to the update dropdown is the latest and greatest - do I need to download this directly as it's not recognized by the update script? Sorry to sound irritated, but I have wasted a ton of time trying to get this to print consistently and it has been a bear. Among other things, pak-n-go is crashing at the same rate as batch/pdf printing so really boxed into a corner at this point and I have an owner as well as the owner's agent breathing down my neck :) and questioning my competence - not a good look. Will go grab the update and see if that will allow me to assemble a pak-n-go....thanks for getting back to me.

Mark F. Madura wrote:Hi Tim,

Did you update to 23.00.03.03? Can you PAK up or ZIP up the files for the project and send them to [email protected] so I can test it here.

Thank You,

MFM

Now I'm confused.... :? :?

I thought DC 23.00.03.03 was still being tested as a release candidate, my version of DC from the pull down Help menu states Version: 23.00.02.21 (PE) & also states on the check for updates that this is the latest version.

I've been switching between DC ver.18 & 23 on some projects, mainly the ones where I've started on DC18 & typically found DC ver.23 to be slower, e.g. a manual save for instance. I also had an issue with hatching/fills on one project with DC ver.23 that kept crashing, so had to revert back to DC18 to complete the project.

Mark posted this update (I believe) to the general V23 forum - you should be able to download it and install it.
